Iain Smythe

Iain Smythe comes from a field hockey program that has produced many Canadian National Team players. He has more than 120 senior national caps since making his debut in 2009. That total includes two appearances at the Commonwealth Games in 2010 and 2014, and two Pan American Games in 2011 and 2015. In both Pan Am Games he helped Canada earn silver.

In 2014 he was part of Canada’s second place finish at the prestigious Champions Challenge 1, and in 2015 helped Canada earn 2016 Olympic qualification via the World League tournament. This will be Iain's first Olympic Games this Summer. Iain’s brother John is also a part of the Men’s National Program.
