Questions runners ask

Socks or calf sleeves?

Compression socks cover the foot and the calf in one piece. Calf sleeves cover just the calf, so you can keep your favorite running socks. Both support your calves for the whole race.

Can I wear compression for the first time on race day?

Better not. The golden rule of marathon running is nothing new on race day: wear them on two or three long runs first, so you know how they feel late in a run.

Racing very soon? Start with the travel socks and the recovery gear, which you don't need to test on a run.

Which compression level is right for running?

Both. 20–30 mmHg is firm; 30–40 mmHg is extra firm, for runners who like a stronger hold on the calves. New to compression? Wear them on a few long runs before race day.

If you have diabetes or circulation problems, ask your doctor before wearing 30–40 mmHg.

How tight should they feel?

Snug and firm, never painful. If you feel numbness, tingling or pain, take them off and check the size chart: you may need a different size.

How does the kit discount work?
